The University new sports complex was opened in 2016. During construction, Tomsk Polytechnic University took into account the student feedback and ideas, that is why the complex offers ample opportunities for doing sports. It includes a swimming pool (25x16 meters), two up-to-date equipped gyms, and other sport and healthcare facilities.

The swimming pool was designed according to international standards and equipped with modern water treatment and safety systems, and it meets requirements for physically challenged people. It is open to students, teaching staff members and Tomsk citizens. 





Sports Complex with a swimming pool (5 Savinykh Street) is opened every day from 8:00 to 22:00 (the gyms are closed to the public at 20:00, swimming pool - 20:30, the last entry into the pool- 20:45) without breaks and days off.

Please, take into account that you have to undergo a medical examination before receiving access to the swimming pool. It is for your safety.

In the swimming pool it is necessary to have:

  • Bar soap, shower puff, towel, slides, swimming cap:
    • women - bathing suit;
    • men - swimtrunks or shorts.

Underwear, knit underwear, and boardshorts are not allowed.
