About Olympiad

The Open Doors Olympiad is an international project allowing international students to be enrolled on a tuition-free master’s degree program at one of the leading Russian universities.

• The project is designed by pioneering Russian academic experts with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation;
  
• The Olympiad is held in two stages. Both stages are held online;
• You can choose a few subject areas and be enrolled at any number of universities;
• An international student will have all advantages of early admission.

The Olympiad is arranged by the Association of Global Universities in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).

Winners and prizewinners of Open Doors are granted free early admission at any Russian university, without entrance examinations and with tuition fees covered by the Russian Federation.

The Olympiad winners will be enrolled in a master’s degree program through a single-window system choosing any out of 500 Russian universities, including 21 leading universities participating in the 5-100 Project.

Who is Eligible to Apply:

• International citizens;
• Stateless people;
• Compatriots residing abroad and obtaining a bachelor’s degree or completing a bachelor’s degree in the 2021 academic year.
